Released in September 2016 in the midst of the first real fashion show “season” with four major shows in a row, our cover story this issue puts a spotlight on one of the most vibrant young designers taking PNG by storm, Natasha Tamanabae, whose elegant tapa-print dresses – and the first tapa-print high heels – were on everyone’s wish lists. 
Lily also became a sponsor of PNG’s first major model search to find local entrants for the World Supermodel Pageant, plus we documented the path to Rio 2016 of female Olympians Samantha Kassman (taekwondo) and Toea Wisil (sprint), as well as Paralympian Regina Edward (discus throw).
