Lily’s ‘women in sport’ themed issue was released in December 2019, just a few months after we all watched the power-packed performances of PNG’s female athletes at the Pacific Games in Samoa in July. On the cover are PNG’s greatest tennis export Abigail Tere-Apisah and her fellow tennis champ sister Marcia, while inside we look at the obstacles this pair face to pursue their passion. 
There are also highlights from the Games, interviews with world champion powerlifter Linda Pulsan and high-jumper Rellie Kaputin, and all the stories from the Westpac Outstanding Women Awards, led by climate change warrior Raylance Mesa fighting against the rising sea on her home island.
