Lily’s wedding-themed issue, released in September 2014, was so popular that all copies sold out in a few months! The cover story is a look into the love stories of three sparkly-eyed newlyweds – including Nelisa Mayum on the cover – while musical celebrity married couple JLee and Jagarizzar open up about the realities of wedded bliss amid the competing demands of family and lively singing careers. The bridal-wear fashion spread “Finding your Fairytale” was shot at the Port Moresby Nature Park. Other features include designer Sharon Brissoni’s quest to put bilumwear on the world stage, and the late Daniella Bronhill’s controversial quest to become PNG’s first transgender politician. Tragically this dream was cut short when she died in 2015 after a short illness.
